The 76-unit Johnny in Austin is going vertical

The Johnny On the Rise in Austin

The framing is done on the 76-unit multifamily development in Central Austin, that will feature 16 units of affordable housing for those who earn below 60% of the median family income.

The Johnny is just steps from the red rail line at Crestview Station and a number of grocery and specialty stores. The developer hopes to provide an alternative to the sprawling multifamily community, “The Johnny will provide residents with sophisticated living in a boutique development that offers an alternative to the large 300-unit plus communities,” said builder Michael Bernstein.

The project will have a “wellness balcony”, which will feature a cold swim spa. The completion date is January of 2023.
