The Film Center Building Adds 8K SF of Leases 

GFP Real Estate, LLC has signed three leases at 630 Ninth Ave in Midtown., The Film Center Building, totaling 8,083 square feet. The Commercial Art Lab, a product photography studio specializing in jewelry, signed a new five-year lease for 3,793 square feet on the second floor, relocating from 71 West 47th St. The Broadway Asia Company, a live entertainment production and management company, leased 3,090 square feet on the sixth floor. Studio 16, a private training studio, leased 1,200 square feet on the fourth floor, relocating from 410 West 47th St. 

Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord in all transactions and The Broadway Asia Company. Michael Gammal of Swift Realty represented the tenant, Studio 16. “The Film Center has continued to see strong leasing activity over the past year as theater and film production companies bounce back following last year’s strikes,” said Mandell.
