The Divaris Group has acquired a management portfolio of 2.3 million square feet of space resulting from KLNB’s acquisition of Edge Commercial Real Estate.

The Divaris Group Absorbs Management of 2.3M SF from KLNB, Edge Commercial Real Estate Deal

Virginia Beach, VA-based The Divaris Group has acquired a portfolio of 2.3 million square feet of space, including over one million square feet of new property management assignments and 1.3 million square feet of new engineering assignments. The Divaris Group — a real estate services,  brokerage, and property management company — now totals 37.3 million square feet of managed and leased space.

The portfolio growth is the result of a joint venture between the Divaris Group and KLNB. KLNB’s recent acquisition of Edge Commercial Real Estate expanded KLNB’s property management portfolio, which will be managed by Divaris Property Management Corp. The new portfolio comprises a mix of office buildings, retail and industrial properties, and will be managed by the Divaris Group from KLNB’s newly acquired office in Rockville, MD.

The joint venture between the Divaris Group and KLNB also expands Divaris Property Management Corp.’s engineering and maintenance services to the DC metro area.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
