District of Scottsdale flips for $161M

The District at Scottsdale Flips for $161.5M

KKR sold The District at Scottsdale, a 332-unit Class A residential building, for $161.5 million. Fairfield Residential was the buyer. The Phoenix Business Journal reports KKR bought the rental community in 2021 for $150 million. 

Built in 2018 on 4.9 acres at 15446 N. Greenway Hayden Loop in Scottsdale, the property includes a four-story residential building totaling 382,378 square feet. It’s loaded with high-end amenities, from a multi-level 8,000-square-foot clubhouse and 5,000-square-foot fitness center to a professional golf simulator and courtyards with hammocks.

Fairfield Residential, founded in 1985, manages 189 properties in 34 markets. The company is a partner with the California State Teachers Retirement System.
