
The Davis Companies Promotes Josh Israel to CFO
Boston, MA-based The Davis Companies has promoted Josh Israel to CFO. In his new role, Israel is overseeing The Davis Companies overall financial operations and the implementation of risk management strategies.
Israel joined The Davis Companies — a real estate investment, development and management firm — as vp of finance in 2017 and has led the firm’s debt capital markets team for the last five years. Prior to joining The Davis Companies, Israel served as the director of portfolio and asset management for Realty Financial Partners, a Boston-based manager of real estate opportunity funds.
Israel began his career in the capital markets group of Massey Knakal Realty (now Cushman & Wakefield) in New York City. He also spent five years in commercial banking with Northeast Bank and Admirals Bank, respectively. In these roles, he was involved in sourcing and underwriting in excess of $1 billion of commercial real estate loan originations and acquisitions throughout the US.
