The Community Builders Appoints Two to Key Leadership Roles
The Community Builders (TCB) has appointed Morgan Wilson as chief of systems and strategy, a newly created role, and Alexa Ducote to succeed Wilson as CFO. Both leaders will report to president and CEO Bart Mitchell.
In his new role, Wilson will continue to oversee information technology and business information systems teams and will work closely with Mitchell on advancing change initiatives, including strategic planning for 2027–2029. He joined TCB in 2000 and, after a brief time away, returned as director of asset management. He was named CFO in 2019.
Ducote joined TCB in 2013 as a development accountant and quickly advanced in leadership, most recently serving as VP of corporate finance and accounting. She has led strategic initiatives to strengthen TCB’s financial reporting, accounting operations and cash management practices.
“Morgan and Alexa exemplify the strength of TCB’s leadership team and the value of thoughtful succession planning. Their appointments reflect our investment in strong internal leadership, enterprise systems and financial sustainability,” said Mitchell. “Morgan’s deep knowledge of business operations, information and data enables TCB to drive impact with systems innovation. Alexa’s financial expertise and deep commitment to TCB’s mission have already made her a trusted partner to senior management, the board of directors and key financial stakeholders.”
