The Colony, Frisco Have Priciest DFW Rental Rates

The Colony and its adjacent community, Frisco tied for the most expensive city in Texas with one-bedrooms both priced at $1,620, according The Zumper Dallas Metro Report. Zumper analyzed active listings last month across metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Texas one bedroom median rent was $1,126 last month. Besides The Colony and Frisco, Grapevine was the second priciest with rent at $1,470. Plano & Dallas tied for third with rents both at $1,450.

The least expensive was Arlington, ranked third, with rent at $1,080. Benbrook ranked as the second least expensive, with rent at $1,020. Cleburne was the most affordable city, with one-bedroom units priced at $1,000.

Cleburne had the largest monthly rent price decline, dipping 5.7%. Irving was second with rent falling 3.2%. Denton ranked as third with rent decreasing 2.7% last month.
