Building Trades Employers Association Names Patrick A. Wehle EVP 

The Building Trades Employers Association (BTEA) has announced the appointment of Patrick A. Wehle as executive vice president. In his new role, Wehle aims to strengthen industry partnerships, enhance safety measures, and promote the value of building with union labor.  

“The BTEA and its members will be well served by the leadership Patrick brings to the organization. He has the proven ability to plan strategically, cultivate relationships, and drive change for the betterment of New Yorkers,” said Pat Di Filippo, executive vice president of Turner Construction Company and co-chair of the BTEA. 

Wehle brings over 20 years of experience in formulating and implementing policies for the growth of New York City. Currently serving as the assistant commissioner for Strategic Policy & Industry Relations at the New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB), Wehle has been instrumental in ensuring safe and compliant construction practices across the city.
