TF Cornerstone Adds Two Retail Tenants in Hunter’s Point South

TF Cornerstone secured two new retail leases at its Malt Drive residential development in Hunter’s Point South, Queens. Breathe Pilates will open at 2-21 Malt Dr. in the North Tower, while Funzy Play Family Club will take space at 2-20 Malt Dr. in the South Tower.

Funzy will occupy 4,969 square feet and Breathe Pilates will lease 2,658 square feet. Funzy is expected to open in December 2025, and Breathe Pilates is expected to open in early 2026 in what will be its first location.

“Malt Drive is designed to be a thriving, community-driven development with amenities for residents of all ages—including playrooms, expansive waterfront parks, and state-of-the-art fitness centers,” said Steve Gonzalez, VP of retail leasing at TF Cornerstone. “Breathe Pilates and Funzy Play will fit right in with this vision.”

TF Cornerstone represented itself in both leases. Breathe Pilates was represented by Thomas Galo of RTL and Funzy Play Family Club was represented by Lip Fei Jiang of Chibeca Real Estate.
