Texas Town to Test Co-Branding Restaurant Concept
A margarita with your pancakes? It could happen soon in Seguin. Dine Brands says their attempt to co-brand a Seguin restaurant location will be the first in the country. The combo will include Applebee’s and IHOP. The concept has already appeared overseas, but the Seguin location will be the first in the United States. The Seguin location will serve as a test in the American market, with the organization learning from the experience how to fine-tune the model. Guests can order from both menus, providing a large variety of cuisine under one roof.
The new establishment will fill a familiar space in Seguin. The dual-branded restaurant at 2777 N. Highway 123 Bypass will replace the currently existing IHOP, which is set to close Nov. 10 for remodeling. The opening date for the new restaurant has not been revealed, but locals can expect the remodeling to begin next week.
