- PlaceMKR acquired a five-property, multi-state, single-tenant, long-term triple net lease retail portfolio anchored by At Home furnishing stores for $31.85 million. The portfolio was purchased from LCN Capital Partners and the deal was brokered by Bryn Feller and Josh Dicker of Northmarq. Three of the properties are in Texas: 600 W. Kelly Ave. in Pharr, Texas; 642 S. Walnut Ave. in New Braunfels, Texas; and 2650 W. Interstate 20 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
- Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of Retreat at 2818, a 248-unit multifamily property in Bryan, Texas. Alec Schenk, Nick Fluellen, Bard Hoover and John McGregor, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a Texas-based private client and procured the buyer, a California-based real estate investment firm.
- Rosewood Property Company acquired full ownership of a two-building, 200,818-square-foot industrial asset in the East Plano, Texas, submarket, buying out interest from Pillar Commercial. The 100% occupied property is located at 3700 and 3712 E. Plano Pkwy. State Farm Life Insurance Company was Rosewood’s lender in the acquisition. JLL’s John Bauman arranged the financing on Rosewood’s behalf.
- JLL Capital Markets arranged refinancing for Supreme Golf Building and Sawyer Grocery, a two-building mixed-use portfolio collectively offering 37 residential units and 36,141 square feet of first-floor retail in Fort Worth, Texas. JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, Magnolia Equity Partners, to secure the five-year, fixed-rate, non-recourse loan with full-term interest-only payments through a life insurance company.
