  • Dallas-based Mohr Partners named 20-year industry veteran Dodie Williams as Managing Partner of Project Management Services. In this newly created leadership role, Williams will oversee the firm’s national project management practice, working with corporate occupiers to manage buildouts, relocations and capital improvement projects across their real estate portfolios. Williams brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate and project management experience to Mohr Partners. Throughout her career, she has held leadership positions with several firms, including JLL, Macro Consultants, Trammell Crow and Jackson Cross Partners.
  • Dallas-based CenterPoint Commercial Companies launched CenterPoint Commercial Capital, a new capital markets division focused on commercial real estate debt and equity placement nationwide. As part of the expansion, CenterPoint has recruited seasoned commercial real estate finance professionals Ari Raskas, founder of ARZ Realty Capital, and Matthew Sheard, formerly of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation, to spearhead the new platform.
  • The Multifamily Group (TMG) brokered the sale of Northwind Apartments, a 71-unit multifamily community located along Interstate 35 in Waco, Texas. Built in 1978, Northwind is located less than one mile from Texas State Technical College. Jon Krebbs represented the undisclosed seller, while Angel Flores sourced the buyer, also undisclosed. The transaction employed a loan assumption and a preferred equity structure to bridge the gap between the seller’s pricing objectives and the realities of today’s capital markets.
  • Berkadia announced the sale of 220 & 230 West Alabama, two multifamily properties totaling 131 units in Houston, Texas. The Berkadia Houston Investment Sales team was led by Kyle Whitney and included Chris Curry, Jeffrey Skipworth, Chris Young, and Joey Rippel, and Tucker Fama. The team represented the seller, an affiliate of Realty Center Management, Inc. The buyer was Fat Property.
