- McCarthy Building Companies has completed construction on Port Houston – Bayport Wharf 6. The new 1,000-foot-long wharf allows the latest generation of container cranes to unload shipping containers from neo-Panamax vessels. Construction on Wharf 6 began in May 2021 and was completed in an accelerated timeline of 26 months.
- Austin ranked among the most active tech markets in North America for office leasing activity, rent growth and high-tech job growth, according to CBRE’s most recent Tech-30 report.
- Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) announced today the sale of The Clusters, a 352-unit multifamily asset in Midland, Texas. Built in 1982 on 14 acres, the property provides residents with basketball, racquetball, volleyball and tennis courts, walking and biking trails, and a swimming pool.
- Cushman & Wakefield’s Chip Colvill, Michael Anderson, Damon Thames, Diana Bridger and Connor Saxe will lead leasing at Greenway Plaza, a 10-building, 4.2 million-square-foot landmark office complex in Houston.
- OAK, the 20-acre mixed-use development in Oklahoma City, announced Williams Sonoma, Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, and Pottery Barn are joining the retail mix. The three brands are the latest in OAK’s new-to-market lineup, which includes Mesero, RH, Arhaus, and Capital Grille.
- McCownGordon added seasoned Texas construction executive Juan F. Rodriguez to its growing Dallas-Fort Worth team, where he will lead the company’s work in various market sectors. He’ll play an instrumental role on the leadership team of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) office.
