  • Stream Realty Partners completed a multi-million dollar capital improvement project on 2515 McKinney, an 18-story Uptown Dallas office tower owned by institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives. J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives, in conjunction with architect Entos Design and general contractor Michael Walker Construction, recently completed renovations to the lobby and created new amenities, including a tenant lounge, public corridors, a conference center, a fitness center, an outdoor patio, and grab-and-go coffee and lunch options. 
  • JLL Capital Markets has completed the sale of and arranged financing for The Offices at Kensington, a two-building, Class A office complex totaling 171,055 square feet in Sugar Land, Texas. JLL represented the seller, Buchanan Street Partners, in the sale of the property to DML Capital. In addition, JLL worked on behalf of DML to secure the fixed-rate acquisition loan. The four-story buildings are 84.1% leased.
  • Stream Realty Partners has appointed Kate Lengyel as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this newly created role, Lengyel will spearhead the oversight of all Human Resources and recruitment functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and company culture initiatives. She will operate from Stream’s corporate headquarters in Dallas and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.  Bringing nearly three decades of experience in Human Resources, her extensive background includes significant roles in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Bass Pro Shops has announced plans to open a 17th Texas location sprawling 100,000 square feet in Odessa. The store will anchor the 158-acre Dorado Destination Center along SH 191 between Yukon Rd. and Mission Blvd. Construction will begin in the coming months, aiming for a spring 2025 opening. ICA Properties owns the development, and The Retail Coach arranged the deal.
  • A 40-year-old hotel in the Design District has just finished $30 million in renovations. The 45-acre Hilton Anatole along North Stemmons Fwy. has added four rooms for a total of 1,610 as well as two new suite types and updated colors. The 27-story hotel also added a three-bay TopGolf Swing Suite as part of the 80,000-sf fitness center and Verandah Spa. Opened in 1979, the hotel was developed by Trammell Crow and is owned by the original ownership group.
