  • Porter Law Firm is opening a second location in Austin, Texas. Located at 5000 Plaza on the Lake, the new office is situated against the backdrop of the iconic Pennybacker Bridge (also known as the Austin 360 Bridge) that traverses Lake Austin. The firm expanded its team to include attorneys Christine E. “Christy” Applegate and Dana Helms, who will both be based in Austin.
  • Loraloma Private Club and Estates, a luxury Hill Country community outside of Austin, Texas from Arete Collective announced the appointment of Sales Director Michael Tomnitz and Sales Associate Marcus Roper. Their focus will center on the recently announced second phase of residences and the exclusive launch of homesites located along the community’s David McLay Kidd 18-Hole Championship Course.
  • Global architecture and design firm Corgan is pleased to announce that Ian Zapata has joined the firm as its Director of Design. As Director of Design, Zapata will continue to advance Corgan’s design philosophy in the firm’s work across sectors including aviation and mobility, data centers, education, government, health, mixed-use, multifamily, office, and workplace. Zapata’s began his career as an architectural intern with the firm more than 25 years ago.
  • Ascendant Development recently broke ground on Amplify Tomball, a 170-unit townhome community, at 17318 N. Eldridge Pkwy. The three-story townhomes range from 1,020 to 1,390 square feet, featuring one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Each unit includes integrated parking garages. Community amenities include a resort-style saltwater pool, fitness center, game room, clubhouse and dog park. Pre-leasing is scheduled to begin in mid-2026.
