  • Granite Properties Investment Manager, Carson Dennis, has been promoted to Director of Investments. Carson’s responsibilities include evaluating, coordinating and executing new investment opportunities covering highly amenitized Class A+ office acquisitions and developments in exceptional micro-locations within top submarkets in booming Sun Belt cities. As part of his new role, Carson will support Granite’s efforts to raise capital for its diversified investment strategy.
  • Humphreys & Partners Architects announced a new leadership team and expanded operational structure. Robin Bellerby is the newly appointed Chief Architecture Officer. Bellerby brings 30 years of multifamily and leadership experience to the role. Chelsea Dora-Shibley steps into an expanded role as Chief Interior Design Officer while continuing as President of HPA Design Group. Brad Tillett has been named Chief Operating Officer.
  • Newmark announces the Company has arranged the sale of Nichols Park Apartment Homes, a 200-unit value-add multifamily property located at 5001 Convict Hill Road in southwest Austin, Texas. Newmark Multifamily Capital Markets Senior Managing Director Jim Young, Vice Chairman Patton Jones, Managing Director Andrew Dickson and Executive Managing Director Matt Michelson represented the seller, Austin-based Thrive FP, in the sale to an undisclosed buyer. 
  • A RentCafe survey ranks Texas first nationwide for new apartment construction, with more than 81,400 rentals expected to open in 2025. The city of Dallas is the busiest builder in 2025 with 5,778 anticipated apartments. Fort Worth will contribute 3,793 apartments, while McKinney will add 2,000 apartments. DFW is expected to deliver 28,958 units by the end of the year. 
  • A 6.84-acre development site located at 4250 North Belt Line Road in Irving has been sold. The asset will be redeveloped into a 118,032-square-foot Class A industrial facility at 4250 North Belt Line Road. Foundry Commercial & Crow Holdings were the buyers. RM Crowe was the seller. Newmark brokered the deal.
