- Austin-based ECR promoted Stephen McMillen from Research Analyst to Brokerage Advisor. The RA program provides a path into commercial real estate brokerage without requiring an existing book of business or industry contacts. McMillen joined ECR’s RA program in August 2025, supporting the brokerage and marketing teams with market research and by tracking properties and tenants across Austin. In his new role, he moves into brokerage full-time.
- Stream Realty Partners represented Superior Energy Services, Inc. in the relocation of its corporate headquarters to 56,256 square feet at 8020 Katy Freeway in Houston. Stream Vice Chairman David Guion and Lucian Bukowski represented Superior Energy Services in the transaction. Located in Houston’s Spring Branch submarket just north of Memorial, 8020 Katy Freeway is a 225,024-square-foot, 13-story office tower.
- CBRE arranged a 50,802-square-foot office lease for Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, LLP at Dallas Arts Tower, a Class-A office tower at 2200 Ross Ave. in downtown Dallas. The law firm relocated from Bank of America Plaza and will occupy floors 18 and 19 of the property. CBRE’s Phil Puckett and Harlan Davis represented Carrington Coleman in lease negotiations. The landlord, Fortis Property Group, LLC, was represented by JJ Leonard of Partners Real Estate and Matt Wieser of Stream Realty.
- The Dinerstein Companies (TDC), in joint venture partnership with Up Campus Student Living and Harrison Street Asset Management, announced that its new student high-rise, Aspire Reserve, opened on August 1. Soaring 19 stories high at the most visible, prime corner of the Northgate district, Aspire Reserve offers 873 beds across a diverse mix of floor plans ranging from thoughtfully designed studios to spacious six-bedroom layouts, spanning from 400 to 1,900 square feet. Amenities include a two-story indoor/outdoor fitness and wellness center, yoga studio, Peloton spin studio, a golf and gaming simulator, resident game lounges, dedicated bike storage and ground-floor retail.
