  • Dallas-based MYCON General Contractors, Inc. (MYCON) welcomed Tad Sellman as Vice President. Tad will spearhead the company’s strategic expansion into the multifamily sector, marking a significant milestone in MYCON’s growth trajectory. 
  • Landsea Homes named Melissa Kelly the new Dallas-Fort Worth Division President for the company. Kelly joins Landsea Homes after serving more than 15 years with Antares Homes, including more than six years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She created and implemented strategic sales and marketing activities within the company, gathered and reviewed competitive market analysis, implemented training programs and ensured the sales staff achieved monthly and yearly sales goals. 
  • KBS sold the Clay Crossing Business Center, a four-building, 222,750 square foot light industrial property in Houston, Texas. The property was purchased by HPI Holdings II, LLC, former owners of the Hardy Properties at Intercontinental development in the North Houston District.
  • Cushman & Wakefield announced that the commercial real estate services firm has arranged the sale of Remington Ridge, a 257-unit multifamily community consisting of two phases, located in Weatherford, Texas. The 133-unit Phase I was built in 2022, with construction already underway for an additional 124 units in Phase II. Asher Hall and Grant Raymond of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Trinity Capital Group, in the transaction. The buyer sponsor was Juniper Investment Group.
  • Dallas-based Apricus Realty Capital expanded its industrial outdoor storage (IOS) portfolio with the acquisition of 9987 Wallisville Rd. in Houston. The 8-acre parcel provides fully secured truck parking for a freight logistics operator, alongside a truck servicing facility and office building. Acquired in a joint venture with ABR Capital, Apricus was self-represented by Managing Principal Matt Haley, Vice President Garrett Marler and Associate Cort Martin.
