- Aligned Data Centers announced the appointment of Billie Haggard as Chief Facility Operations Officer (CFOO). Mr. Haggard was promoted from his previous role as Executive Vice President of Operations, where he spearheaded the company’s data center performance optimization. In the newly created position, he will oversee day-to-day data center operations and personnel globally while driving the operational strategy for data center technology enhancements, efficiency, and innovation.
- Austin-based, LV Collective announced the addition of Christopher Kott to their leadership team as executive vice president of acquisitions. Kott brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate. He previously served as the managing director of acquisitions and investment committee member at Virtus Real Estate Capital. Prior to Virtus, Kott was an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
- Pflugerville City Council approved a $77.6 million construction contract for a city public works complex. Design and bidding for the project are in progress, and the notice to proceed with construction will be issued immediately. Design plans show six buildings, including a 56,000-square-foot main administrative building. Other buildings are designated for supply, storage, vehicle maintenance and fueling. Currently, four leased mobile trailers support the department, costing the city about $210,000 a year.
- Colliers announced that Jack Crews has joined the firm as Executive Vice President in its Dallas-Fort Worth office. A recognized leader in the commercial real estate sector, Crews brings a proven track record in office leasing and capital markets, with extensive experience advising institutional clients, private investors and occupiers. Crews has held senior roles at several of the industry’s most respected brokerage firms, including Jones Lang LaSalle, Trammell Crow Company and HFF.
