• Westmount Realty Capital, a private national real estate investment firm with offices throughout the country, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gina Morrison as the new director of recruiting and team development. Morrison has over a decade of extensive experience in human resources, working in a broad range of industries with a proven track record of success in recruiting top-tier talent. She will be responsible for sustaining the firm’s culture, enhancing employee engagement and driving team development.
• Travis Walker has joined construction management firm McCownGordon as a business development manager in its DFW office. He joins the firm after 10 years of professional experience in the DFW area, specifically in the public sector. In his new role as business development manager, Walker will work closely with McCownGordon business unit leaders to strengthen and build relationships in the DFW region.
• Mill Creek Residential is wrapping up the construction of a 379-unit apartment community in Walsh, a 7,200-acre residential development. The Modera Walsh apartments will have 20 townhomes, 24 casita homes, a resort-style pool, co-working spaces, 24-hour fitness center, pet spa, and a dog park. Monthly rent will start at $1,460. First move-ins are expected later this month.
• In just a few weeks, American Realty Group’s shell building of La Marketa de Porter is expected to be delivered in Porter. The 36,000-square-foot shopping center will include a Teloloapan grocery store, Ostioneria Michoacán Seafood Restaurant, Peruvian-Mexican restaurant Pollo Bravo, a bakery, a medical office and a laundromat.
