  • Sparkle Asset Management has sold Coral Cay Apartments, a 109-unit multifamily property, to SPV Property Management. Built in 1970, the property at 1234 Nile Dr. has an average unit size of 955 sf and was 97 percent occupied at the time of sale. Northmarq brokered the sale.
  • Brad Carbo joins rand* construction as a Managing Director. In this role, he will lead strategic market initiatives to scale the business while tapping into his commercial real estate industry network. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining rand* construction, Carbo held various positions with JLL over the past 10 years, most recently serving as the Managing Director – South Central Region Project & Development Services Lead where he was responsible for leading teams in Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Kansas City.
  • Ashlar Development has sold 40 acres within The Groves, a master-planned community in Atascocita, to Read King for future retail centers. Located near Madera Run Rd and Woodland Hills Rd, the first commercial development is expected to be completed by first quarter 2024, while buildout will take several years. The retail space will include both shops and restaurants.
  • Baker Katz has welcomed Kennedi Vaughan as a broker to support leasing for the firm’s portfolio with tenant representation for their commercial real estate clients. Prior to starting at Baker Katz, Kennedi gained real estate experience through internship roles with Brizo Construction and Colliers—where she was responsible for filing and reporting data for market analysis, collaborating with clients and vendors, and more. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in communications in May of 2023.
