Texas Health Planning 20-Acre Campus

Texas Health Resources, headquartered in Arlington, TX, is planning a 20-acre hospital campus in the far-north Dallas submarket of Frisco. The campus, which will be at Dallas North Tollway and Cobb Hill Drive, is scheduled for opening in Q3 2019.

The hospital will be Texas Health’s first in Frisco, though it currently operates in 16 north and central Texas counties. The system currently runs a behavioral health center, a sports medicine facility, and several freestanding emergency rooms in Frisco.

The new campus will contain a 74-bed, 325,000-square-foot acute care hospital, a 120,000-square-foot medical office building, and a 90,000-square-foot multi-specialty clinic. University of Texas Southwestern medical services will occupy a large part of the medical building through a 2015 alliance between it and Texas Health, which formed Southwestern Health Resources.
