Texas Capital Merges Units in Richardson

Texas Capital is moving to the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas campus in Richardson to unite its offices and banking center. The bank will utilize 160,000 square feet of the million-square-foot campus on East Lookout Dr. The company’s technology and operations team will be housed in the new space, along with its financial services units. The company says the motivation behind the move is tied to the company’s overall strategy to have “key market locations” in multiple areas.

Construction on the renovation is expected to cost $9 million. The campus, which opened in 2010, features two buildings, a fitness center and a 300-seat auditorium. Work on Texas Capital Bank’s North Dallas office space is scheduled to begin later this month.

Founded in 1998, Texas Capital is headquartered in Dallas, with offices in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth, and additional locations across the U.S.
