300-Unit Southerly at Crossroads breaks ground in Terrell

Terrell, Texas Site for New Multifamily Development

A partnership involving Ventures Development Group and Batson-Cook Development Co. has started work on a 300-unit apartment in Terrell, 30 miles east of Dallas. The Southerly at the Crossroads was designed by Arrive Architecture. Construction Enterprise is building it. First Horizon Corp. provided the construction loan.

The apartment complex will be part of the Terrell Market Center master-planned development. Amenities will include a pool, outdoor kitchen, fitness center, game room and dog park.

The first units are slated for move-in the fourth-quarter of 2023.
