Terra Completes First Phase of $1B Miami-Area Mixed-Use Project

Terra completed Phase One of Upland Park, a $1 billion transit-oriented community that will transform West Miami-Dade County’s Dolphin Park-and-Ride Transit Terminal Facility into a 47-acre mixed-use community with residential, retail, and commercial uses. The newly delivered first phase of the project comprises 578 multifamily residences, with leasing now underway and tenant move-ins in progress.

Upland Park was imagined as a public-private partnership between Terra and the County. The project is designed by PPK Architects, in collaboration with architect Arquitectonica. Future uses include additional mid-rise and garden-style residential apartments, as well as retail and commercial space. Construction of the project’s second phase of residential, which will add another 484 multifamily apartments, is expected to begin later this year.
