Tenants, Amenities and the NY Office

A new suite of amenities is attracting tenants to NYC office buildings.

“The white glove services, the private elevator, the access to the rooftop, the proximity to Bryant Park — those are things that are relevant for our tenant base in this market,” said Eli Elephant, CEO of PBC USA.

“Retail amenities and food options typically at the base of the building to attract tenants — that is a significant trend that we have seen,” said Marty Cottingham, principal, office leasing for Avison Young.

“Food courts and cafeterias… Eataly down at Madison Square Park, Chelsea Market, Hudson Eats at Brookfield. It’s really something special,” said Charles Stephens, senior associate with Cushman & Wakefield.
