Developer Looks to Build Four-Star Hotel in Old Town Temecula

Bernie Truax, a developer with strong roots in Temecula, CA, is aiming to build a new four-star, 150-room hotel in Old Town Temecula. The Truax Hotel, currently in the design review stage of planning, would be located on Third Street and occupy the area between Old Town Front Street and Mercedes Street.

In an effort to provide tourists with the same kind of vibe they experience in San Diego’s Gaslamp district, the hotel would boast a rooftop pool. Also included in the plans are five dining options, a health club, spa, and conference rooms.

Truax is also looking to construct a 201-vehicle valet parking lot across the street from the prospective development. If everything goes as planned, groundbreaking could begin in October.
