TECO Pays $53M for New Office Building in San Francisco

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) has acquired a brand new, Class A office building in the SoMa neighborhood of San Francisco. Completed in 2022, the seven-story, 56,000-square-foot property located at 345 4th St., was purchased for $52.8 million. TECO is relocating from its office on Montgomery Street, and will occupy the entire building.

TECO in San Francisco is one of 13 representative offices in the U.S. for the Republic of China on Taiwan. The new space will include TECO’s Consular, Education, Economic, Tourism and Immigration Divisions.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenny Tsai, Tom Christian and Andrew Hsu along with SV Commercial Property Brokerage’s Danny Yu represented TECO in the sale. Barry Bram of Brookwood Starboard represented the seller, 4th & Harrison SF, LLC.

345 4th St. features office level balconies, exterior sunshades, a photovoltaic canopy and a roof terrace that allows for dramatic views of the San Francisco skyline.
