TRS Brokers Sale of 20K-SF Industrial Facility in D.C.

Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) has brokered the sale of Steeplechase Building H, a 19,973-square-foot warehouse facility in Washington D.C. Mark Glagola, Gerry Trainor and Thomas Hilley of TRS represented the seller, Atapco Properties, in the transaction. Fundrise acquired the property for an undisclosed price.

Located at 9300 Alaking Ct., the facility is within the Steeplechase 95 International Business Park, a 110-acre mixed-use business park in Capitol Heights, MD. At the time of sale, the facility was fully leased to a high-credit tenant.

“We were fortunate to be in a position to be able to close at a time when most other deals were falling through. Working with such an experienced broker team was key in making sure it got done,” said Brandon Jenkins, COO at Fundrise. “Ultimately, we are believers in the long-term growth potential of well-located, last-mile type assets, and this property is a great example of that.”
