Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has added to its sustainability staff with the hiring of Marney Coleman as Sustainability Manager. Based in Chicago, she will partner with TCC’s Director of Sustainability, James Murray-Coleman, to help drive the firm’s strategies around sustainability, focusing on the decarbonization of TCC’s portfolio of industrial, office, and multifamily projects.
Coleman’s experience includes a role with BlocPower, where she developed strategic and sustainable recommendations for the company’s core competencies within the building HVAC electrification space. She previously held roles at Resource Label Group, where she was an EDF Climate Corps Fellow, and the Academy for Global Citizenship, where she was sustainability coordinator.
Coleman earned her master’s degree in Sustainability from the Erb Institute for Global Sustainability at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and School of Environment and Sustainability. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and International Studies from American University.
Jasmine Kilman is Content Director of Connect Commercial Real Estate, covering Chicago and greater Chicagoland, the Midwest, Seattle, and the Pacific Northwest. She covers industry trends, transaction deals, market research, and produces daily news stories.
With experience in marketing and communications for academic nonprofits and corporate clients, including Hearst Media, Hilton, and Coldwell Banker, Kilman has written about commercial real estate, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), technology, healthcare, and philanthropy. She was born and raised in California and graduated with a degree in public relations. In her spare time, Kilman enjoys hiking and traveling to new locations with her family.
