Taylored Adds to Already Large Port of LA Footprint

As the international supply chain begins to loosen and more goods are making it to their intended destinations, the nation’s ports are continuing to ramp up – including the Port of Los Angeles and Taylored Services LLC.

Taylored is adding 85 acres of land and about 600,000 square feet of warehousing capability to its footprint at the Port of LA. Taylored will independently operate the new space. The additional space is directly linked to the goal of increasing flow through the port, while aiding that “downstream congestion” mentioned at the top of this article.

The expansion (a.k.a. “Taylored POLA”) will feature secured trailer and container storage, around-the-clock surveillance and additional transloading services – all while Taylored maintains its existing 79-dock presence at the port.

The Port of Los Angeles is the busiest container port in North America – a pole position the port has held for more than 20 years, with record volumes for “containerized trade.”
