Tapatio Springs Sells then has a fire

Tapatio Springs Gets New Owner, Another Fire

It was owned at one time by George Strait, but has been better known recently for fires. First in 2017 and then a few weeks ago. Firefighters from four departments responded to a fire that took out the building containing the spa and fitness center. Just before the second fire at Tapatio Springs, Crescent Hotels took over the famous property and placed it into their ‘Latitudes’ brand.

The 220-acre resort in Boerne, houses 111 rooms, a golf course, dining options and outdoor events venues.

The resort, which is 20 minutes from San Antonio, had recently completed renovations. Over the past year, guest rooms and suites have been upgraded along with a new 35,000 square foot clubhouse.
