Tanger opens outlet in Nashville

Tanger Factory Outlets Debuts in Nashville

The retail outlet concept had taken a hiatus of sorts. Most outlet developers had to wait to see how population shifts and online shopping would affect their business. A sign of easing in Nashville as Tanger Factory Outlets has opened its 37th shopping center in Antioch, just outside Nashville. The Triad Business Journal reports it’s the first outlet center to open in six years.

The $140 million center will include 290,000 feet of open-air shopping. Tanger Nashville has leased 96.5% of its retail and restaurant space. It houses tenants such as Ralph Lauren, Ulta, Nike, Under Armour, Oakley and Pottery Barn, as well as Nashville eateries Prince’s Hot Chicken and Tailgate Brewery…60 in all.

The outlet mall features parking in the center of the shops that allow for curbside pickup and a large green space in the center for customers to eat and enjoy entertainment.
