Tacoma Centre Unveils Renovations, Celebrates Grand Opening
Tacoma Centre, formally known as Tacoma Financial Center, is celebrating its grand opening following a total renovation of 10,000 square feet on the first floor. After Kirkland-based MJR Development purchased the property, the company announced the name change and transformation plans.
Kidder Mathews’ Will Frame and Drew Frame represented MJR in the acquisition and are now managing the leasing. “The post-pandemic workforce demands more than traditional office spaces. They want amenitized properties that can effortlessly integrate with their daily routines,” said MJR President Mike Raskin.
Located downtown at 1145 Broadway, renovations of the 15-story, 200,000-square-foot office building include a fitness center, a lounge, and a café and wine bar. The second phase of the multi-million-dollar renovation should finish in the coming weeks and will add an additional pavilion and common area upgrades. “Tacoma Centre stands as a testament to the marketplace’s flight to quality,” said Will Frame.
