Tacoma Apartment Complex Sells for $41M

Seattle-based Goodman Real Estate has sold the Altitude 104 apartment complex, a 230-unit property in Tacoma to Oro Capital Advisors for $40.75 million. The price equals approximately $177,000 per unit.

The 25-building property is spread out over 12 acres at 2201 104th St. Court S. Goodman acquired the property in 2015 for $18.5 million. It was built in 1989, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Berkadia’s Brandon Lawler represented the seller, while the buyer was self-represented. The transaction also included a loan assumption. The original loan principal was issued in 2016 for $28 million, with an interest rate of 3.86%. The balance, due July 1, 2026, is approximately $1.5 million.

Altitude 104 offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with convenient amenities. The property is located near Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Hwy 512 and I-5, and shopping centers.
