Syska Hennessy Group, an international engineering firm, has promoted Gary Brennen and Cyrus Izzo to new leadership roles. Brennen, previously a co-president, has been elevated to chairman and will focus on strategy and governance. Izzo, who also previously served as a co-president, has been named president and CEO and will oversee the day-to-day management of Syska.  

This restructuring follows the recent promotions of four senior executives and supports the firm’s ‘Vision 2025’ plan, “These include streamlining operations, investing in the next generation of leaders, and deepening client relationships. An augmented executive team enables us to reach these goals more quickly,” said Izzo.  

“I started at Syska as an engineering trainee 41 years ago, and I’ve enjoyed each and every role I’ve held since then,” said Brennen. “I’m looking forward to this latest step in a long and rewarding career here at Syska.”
