Swire Introduces New Destination for Island Living in Miami

Swire Properties has unveiled the first official details of One Island Drive, a residential and hospitality destination near Miami’s urban core. One Island Drive is located at the southernmost point of Brickell Key, the island community Swire Properties has been developing for more than 40 years. It will be surrounded by waterfront vistas and feature two architecturally spectacular towers. 

The first tower, β€œThe Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami,” will rise more than 800 feet. It will feature 220 two-to-four-bedroom homes with floorplans up to 4,700 square feet and two duplex penthouses at the top of the building, each more than 6,000 square feet.The second tower will be approximately 400 feet tall and include the next North American Mandarin Oriental hotel with 151 guest rooms, and 61 private residences and 28 hotel residences.

One Island Drive is the first residential property built on Brickell Key in 15 years.

Angela Noote is a native of Northern California and graduated from Chico State with a degree in public relations. After college she moved to the Central Coast and worked first in ad sales then in editorial, eventually spending more than a decade as a print reporter and editor. She detoured into design work at a printer/publisher, and with a partner eventually opened a boutique full-service marketing agency. Moving into corporate communications, she built and managed several successful marketing teams in the hospitality, financial services, and nonprofit industries. Most recently she was an internal comms manager in the tech sector. After a long stint spent in Georgia (Go Dawgs), she moved to Baton Rouge, LA and has written for clients in the financial, luxury imports, higher ed, commercial cleaning, and medical equipment industries. Her son is a media arts major at the University of South Carolina, and her husband owns a comedy theater in Baton Rouge, where you can often find Angi teaching improv classes, leading corporate training events, or doing an occasional stand up set.
