Brentwood Place Shopping Center sells for $118.5M

Swift Creek Trades Brentwood Shopping Center for $118.5M

Regency Centers Corp. paid $118.5 million for the Brentwood Place Shopping Center. The Nashville Business Journal reports the center has doubled in value since Swift Creek Holdings paid $60.2 million for the site in 2007.

The Brentwood Place Shopping Center, located at 330 Franklin Road, offers 320,000 square feet and is home to multiple major retailers, including Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Total Wine and Golf Galaxy. The center is 95% leased and draws 4.3 million annual visitors. It is adjacent to the future 350,000-square-foot Vanderbilt Medical Campus.

Regent Centers, headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, is a national owner, operator and developer of shopping centers located in suburban areas. The recent purchase expands Regency’s local portfolio, which also includes three grocery-anchored shopping centers in Franklin, Hermitage and Brentwood.
