SVN Sells South Loop Restaurant to Local Restaurateur

SVN Chicago Commercial helped secure the sale of 1307 S. Wabash Avenue in Chicago’s South Loop. The asset sold for $1.8 million, with the firm’s Tim Rasmussen, CCIM, and Marcus Sullivan representing the seller.

The 4,800-square-foot restaurant condo sold for 95 percent of the asking price to a local buyer backed by a lender. David Wong of Century 21 Realty Associates represented the local buyer.

The seven-story condo building was built in 1929 and has 73 “soft loft” units. The property is located near Columbia College Chicago and DePaul University. SVN | Chicago Commercial is a full-service commercial real estate advisory with an in-house property management company. Headquartered in Chicago, the firm has more than 200 offices nationwide.
