SVN Chicago Closes Sale of Ukrainian Village Mixed-Use Building

SVN Chicago Commercial has completed the sale of a fully rehabbed mixed-use corner property at 1859 W Chicago Avenue in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood. The 9,267-square-foot building sold for $2.74 million.

Lead brokers Drew Dillon and Scott Maesel of SVN Chicago Commercial, who represented both sides, were the only brokers involved in the transaction.“This is a true armchair investment — fully rehabbed, stabilized, and positioned for future rent growth,” said Dillon.

The brick building includes six residential apartments and a stable long-term retail tenant, a veterinarian office, occupying the ground floor. Located on a signalized corner in the heart of West Town, the asset offers exceptional visibility and walkability within the Chicago Avenue Transit-Oriented Development corridor.
