SVN Chicago Closes 100-Unit MF Portfolio Sale in DeKalb

SVN Chicago Commercial has brokered the sale of a 100-unit multifamily portfolio in DeKalb, Illinois.

The portfolio, comprised of seven buildings across multiple addresses, was sold for $5.7 million. The assets include 875 & 887 Fotis Drive, 945 & 871 Regent Drive, 846 & 857 Spiros Court. It also included a property at 830 Edgebrook Drive along with an adjacent parking lot. SVN Chicago Commercial represented both sides in the transaction.

“We were able to achieve one of the fastest list-to-close transactions in DeKalb this year — in under seven weeks,” said Szymanowski, an Investment Advisor with SVN Chicago Commercial.. “We found the right buyer quickly due to our expansive network and long-standing industry relationships.” Positioned for a value-add strategy, the portfolio offers strong upside potential for the new owner in a market that continues to attract interest from both private and institutional investors.
