Surgical Tools Manufacturer Joins Tenant Roster at Cummings Center in Beverly

American Surgical Company has relocated its international operation from Salem, MA, leasing a 20,325-square-foot headquarters at Cumming Properties’ Cummings Center in Beverly, MA. The medical tools manufacturer is transitioning its workforce from Salem’s Shetland Park to a new custom-built research and development facility at 100 Cummings Dr.

Al Diamond, business development director at Cummings, worked with Cresa managing principals Joe Doyle and John Coakley on the deal. “Cummings has a strong history of partnering with Cresa to meet the needs of the suburban business community,” said Diamond. “We were especially pleased to hear from Joe and John, whose familiarity with our diverse portfolio made it easy to identify Cummings Center as an excellent match for American Surgical’s operational and growth needs.”

For more than 35 years, American Surgical Company has specialized in sustainably produced single-use surgical tools and specialty devices. At Cummings Center, it joins a tenant roster that includes Beth Israel Lahey Health Specialty Care, Northeast Hospital, MassBio, Hamilton Thorne, Hettich Instruments and Sciessent.
