Suffolk Completes $150M Boston College Integrated Science Center

Suffolk has delivered a state-of-the-art facility for Boston College that will house the university’s Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society. The $150-million building on Beacon Street is the largest single investment in the sciences at Boston College.

The new center will be home 150,000-square-feet of classrooms, labs, faculty offices, collaboration and maker spaces to teach and conduct research in computer science robotics, prototype research and nanotechnology research.

“Suffolk is thrilled to have successfully delivered this incredible integrated science center to Boston College on schedule and on budget,” said Jeffrey Gouveia, general manager of Suffolk Northeast. “We are proud to have played a role in managing construction of this state-of-the-art building for exploring the worlds of science, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation while developing solutions to address our greatest global challenges.”

She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
