Metergy Solutions has leased 12,702 square feet of office space at The Factory in Long Island City for a subsidiary

Submetering Provider Metergy Leases Long Island City Offices for Subsidiary

Newmark completed a new 12,702 square-foot lease for submetering provider Metergy Solutions at The Factory, located at 30-30 47th Ave. in Long Island City. Built in 1926 as a furniture warehouse for Macy’s, The Factory is owned by a joint venture between Atlas Capital Group, Partners Group and Invesco Real Estate.

Ownership was represented by Newmark executive vice chairman Brian Waterman, vice chairman Howard Kesseler, senior managing director Jordan Gosin and associate director Alex Rosenblum. CBRE’s Liz Lash represented Metergy Solution, which will house subsidiary QuadLogic Controls at The Factory.

“We are looking forward to Metergy Solutions joining the vibrant tenant mix at The Factory,” said Waterman. “The fact that the company was already present in Long Island City and chose to relocate to the Factory further reinforces the type of product we offer and continues to contribute to the great leasing velocity we’ve witnessed.”
