Stream wraps up The Quads redo

Stream Puts a Wrap on The Quad

Originally called The Quadrangle when it debuted in 1966, the new and improved Quad has come back to life.

The Quad, a mixed-use development in Uptown Dallas, is ready to go after a major renovation that included the construction of a new office tower, new restaurants and retail.

The effort was headed up by Stream Realty, which bought the complex in 2019. Stream broke ground on the project in 2022, financing its construction with a $181 million loan from MSD Capital, according to CommercialEdge information.

Located at 2699 Howell St., the Quad now encompasses a 12-story, 345,425-square-foot office tower complemented by five standalone retail buildings, an “urban lawn,” and The Quad Club, a penthouse amenity center with a full-service bar, lounge, conference center, and rooftop terrace. The property will include seven on-site eateries, to open in the fall.

OMNIPLAN was the project architect, and Austin Commercial was the general contractor. Stream’s development team included Ramsey March, Brad Dornak, Jerry Mays, and Blake Bell.
