Stream Hires VP to Capitalize On Atlanta’s Life Sciences Real Estate Boom
Stream Realty Partners has welcomed Kyle E.G. Smith as a VP in its Atlanta office, with responsibilities for sourcing, winning, and executing business across all service lines, particularly the life sciences space.
Smith, a GA native who served in the U.S. Air Force, has relocated to Atlanta from Chicago, where he worked for Sterling Bay.
“I grew up in Middle Georgia, and I have friends who graduated from the state’s leading universities with aspirations to be a scientist here only to realize that the infrastructure and lab space weren’t available in the market to support their careers,” said Smith. “As a result, these individuals either moved to one of the major healthcare/life science hubs or switched careers.”
“The need for both wet labs and dry labs around the U.S. continues to grow, and Atlanta has space to develop new facilities and retrofit older buildings to help meet that need,” said Ben Hautt of Stream Atlanta.
