Stream Goes for 59 Acres in Buda for Logistics Facility
Stream Realty Partners recently boosted its presence between Austin and San Antonio with an off-market 59-acre acquisition in Buda. TX. The new landowner is planning a 931,880-square-foot industrial development at 16350 Interstate 35 Frontage Rd.
While a groundbreaking date has not been announced, Alex Perry, vice president with Biel Partners LLC, indicated construction could begin on the site very soon.
“Stream targeted Buda for this particular development, as the city is in the path of growth along the 35 corridor from Austin to San Antonio,” said Perry, who represented Stream Realty in the land transaction with RC Associates LLC.
He added that the industrial park could be completed by the end of 2022. The unnamed speculative development will offer a mix of shallow bay facilities and include one large cross-dock facility. Perry indicated that the space could be a good fit for tenants involved with e-commerce, third-party logistics and other warehouse/distribution activities.
