Strategic Capital Partners Breaks Ground on $55M Industrial Project in South Carolina
Indianapolis-based developer Strategic Capital Partners (SCP) has broken ground on Rock Hill Commerce Center, a $55 million, multi-phase industrial development in northeastern York County, S.C.
The project will deliver more than one million square feet of Class A industrial space through its phases. The first phase calls for two buildings totaling 800,000 square feet and is slated to be completed by the end of 2021. Building A is a rear load, 300,000-square-foot facility with 32-foot clear heights while building B is a 500,000-square-foot cross-dock facility. The second phase will create an additional 200,000 square feet.
“We believe the metro Charlotte industrial market will continue to grow and benefit from its strong southeastern location, proximity to a growing population and a strong transportation system, which all contribute to the success of companies choosing to locate there. Rock Hill has a proven track record for attracting corporate expansions in office, manufacturing and distribution,” said Richard Horn, CEO at Strategic Capital Partners.
