Storage Post Enters Chicago Market with the Acquisition of Five Sites

Storage Post Self Storage has marked a significant milestone by entering the Midwest market with the acquisition of five self-storage facilities in Chicagoland.

“Chicago has a lot of demand for self-storage, but high-density cities are tough markets to gain a foothold. Fortunately, Storage Post has the experience and the capital to meet these needs while successfully navigating the tricky market of a big city,” explains Yoon Lee, Vice President of Operations at Storage Post. “We’re committed to making life easier for residents and businesses in Chicagoland by offering secure, convenient, and high-quality storage options.”

These preexisting locations strategically surround downtown Chicago, at sites including:

Albany Park, 3215 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL
Belmont, 2051 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL
Edgewater, 6331 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL
Little Village, 3245 W. 30th St., Chicago, IL
Uptown, 5145 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL

Storage Post’s acquisitions team expects to add several more locations through existing property acquisitions in the next year, both in the Midwest and other markets throughout the U.S.
