Stony Brook University Hospital Signs 35K-SF Lease at SBTC

Colliers has secured a lease extension and expansion for Stony Brook University Hospital at the Stony Brook Technology Center (SBTC) in East Setauket. The 25,000-square-foot building at 181 N Belle Mead Road is now fully leased, accommodating Stony Brook Hospital’s marketing and communications department, EEG neurology center, general administration, and pediatrics center.

SBTC, a Class A multi-amenity medical and office building, offers high-quality facilities. Situated on a 103-acre campus-style technology park with over one million square feet of space, SBTC is home to researchers and surgeons, with a park-like atmosphere including greenery, ponds, and fountains throughout the campus.

A Colliers team led by Maria Valanzano and Steven D’Orazio represented the landlord, TRITEC Real Estate Company, in the transaction. David Leviton from JLL represented Stony Brook in the transaction. “It’s no doubt that Stony Brook Technology Center offers some of the best-in-class facilities and medical care on Long Island,” said Valanzano.
